i had planned to show you the design plan for my client’s office/guest room today, but unfortunately i’m having technical difficulties with my scanner. i’ll have to save that post until tomorrow or whenever i can get my scanner figured out.
in the meantime here are some gorgeous images of a nantucket vacation home designed by elizabeth corker for you to look at. i could handle a vacation here any day.
this great room is trully a great room. love the coffered ceiling and neutral gray tones.
the coffee table looks really interesting. i wish i could see the whole piece.
the antique chandelier is my favorite part of this picture.
i love everything about this bedroom, the chandelier, the artwork, the bed, the window treatment, the colors, everything. isn’t it funny how so many designers use the word love so freely. it’s probably my most overused word, but when you love something…you love it. :o)

get excited…tomorrow is friday!!!
Those are the fanciest bathroom stool legs I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteI love the bedroom too. I think I'd love it empty and unpainted. I like the wood ceiling and the window in the gable. But mostly because the ceiling is lower than it could of have been making it more cozy than otherwise. I don't think high ceiling bedrooms are particularly good unless they have a canopy bed.
I'm loving the "bunk beds" that are like stair steps...really cute! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteLori I totally agree. Such a cool idea and what an amazing architectural feature it creates. -Cristi
