i’ve been ordering online from cb2 for quite a while now, and i was so excited when i found out atlanta was getting an actual cb2 store. they are a great modern home store with unbeatable prices.
last night billy and i headed downtown for the cb2 midtown grand opening party. it was nuts down there. there were so many people out for the party. i snapped some photos with my new camera of some unique merchandising ideas. i also took some pictures of my favorite pieces that i had only seen in the catalog or online until now. it’s great to see them in person.
this very stylish lemon-lime sofa greeted us as soon as we walked in.
and right around the corner from the awesome yellow sofa was this yellow tray table. are those red shoes for sale? i really like those too.
and a close-up of the really cute place card holders.
clothespin chopsticks, perfect for those of you who haven’t mastered the art of eating with chopsticks.
this acrylic coffee table was one of billy’s favorite pieces of furniture and he’s obsessed with those shag rugs.
more great merchandising.
loved these extra large bowls and vases. that’s three bowls stacked in the display.
the logan media console has been a personal favorite of mine for a while. i was really excited to see it in the store.
this set of three brightly colored tables makes me happy.
as do these foo dogs.
i wanted to take more photos, but as you can tell by the ones below it was a packed house.
on the way out i took a picture of one of their super-funky front window displays.
cb2, thanks for having us over to celebrate with you! we wish you the best of luck with your new atlanta location.
how did i not know this was opening
ReplyDeletein atlanta? so glad you shared this!
and as for the lime green couch, i'm suddenly obsessed with lime green furnishings. just too timid to actually make the purchase.
They do have such cute stuff. If I was a bit more brave I would totally go for that yellow sofa!
ReplyDelete3 cheers for the foo dogs, I love the color.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to check it out! I'm spec-ing a few items from here on the project I'm working on - now I won't have to order online, yay!
ReplyDeleteI am very excited to check out the store this coming weekend. There was no way in Hades I would go down there opening weekend! I'm sure it was more of a mad house than industry night on Thursday! Love the photos you took! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteReally cool stuff, thanks for introducing me.
