today was a typical monday. busy, busy, busy. it was filled with space planning, working on a guest blog, fabric shopping at forsyth fabrics and lewis and sheron, a trip to ikea, and a new client meeting. i managed to get it all in, but it looks like the rest of the week will be just as busy. i was really excited when i came home and found a little package that i’ve been waiting on. it’s the new book by mitchell gold and bob williams called the comfortable home: how to invest in your nest and live well for less.
the reason i was so excited about getting this little book is because the MG+BW’s director of communications contacted me last week about doing a review of the book and then doing a give-away on my blog. so, alas, the book is here.
i’ll start reading it tonight. ooh, just realized how late it is. i’ll start reading in the morning. then later this week provide you with a review of it. stay tuned because along with that review post will be a giveaway(whoohoo! – charm’s first give away).
i’ll also be attending an event at the mitchell gold + bob williams atlanta showroom tomorrow night to celebrate the release of the book as well as the company’s 20th anniversary. i’ll make sure to take lots of pictures to show you guys.
