in the spirit of budgets, i thought i’d show some of the best DIY’s i've seen lately…
1. DIY horchow pendant. get the instructions here.
2. DIY bird mobile featured earlier this week on my blog.
3. DIY floral and white dresser found on the d*s blog.
if i were doing this DIY project myself. i would use the grimle buffet from ikea and apply the vinyl cut-outs to the front of it so that it looks really close to the inspiration piece from the first picture.
4. DIY drawer front hangers. great for a kid’s room or nursery project. get the instructions here.
5. DIY shutter headboard.
very simple instructions. 1.) find shutters at a local architectural salvage shop or online through antique sites; 2.) paint to desired color; 3.) determine number of shutters that you will need to hang(this depends on bed size); 4.) hang shutters behind bed at desired height.
6. DIY coffee table ottoman as seen on little green notebook
